Daily Bruin staffers come from nearly every UCLA undergraduate school and division. Data from 2024–2025 shows that around 82.4% of staff members and 46.2% of interns are studying humanities, while 39.6% of staff members and 32.3% of interns are studying life sciences and physical sciences or engineering. There are higher proportions of interns and staff studying humanities, social sciences, public affairs, arts and architecture, and theater, film, and TV compared to the general UCLA undergraduate population.
