In 2025–2026, UCLA undergraduates are primarily Asian/Pacific Islander, White, and Hispanic or Latino, while Daily Bruin staff show lower demographic distributions compared to the university overall for Native Americans and Hispanics or Latinos.

The Daily Bruin recorded the percentage of staff members who are Middle Eastern, although this percentage is not recorded by UCLA.
