‘We’re going to Disneyland!’
Grab your mouse-ears, Bruins, and get ready for Fantasyland.
As part of the UCLA Basketball Team/NCAA Champions Celebration
Day at Disneyland, the Bruin basketball team will celebrate their
victory at the fantasy theme park today.
The championship team, together with Head Coach Jim Harrick,
will appear in the 11:30 a.m. Parade Cavalcade down Main Street
U.S.A., followed by a special honor ceremony in front of
Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty Castle at noon.
From there, the team will venture onto the "Indiana Jones
Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye" attraction.
After the Disneyland festivities, the team will return to Pauley
Pavilion for a 5 p.m. pep rally, where Coach Jim Harrick will
receive the Sears Championship Trophy.
Admission to the rally is free, but seating is limited and on a
first-come, first-serve basis.
