The UCLA men’s ice hockey team preened the University of Oregon
on Saturday night, 6-3. The Ducks gave the Bruins no problems as
the steamrolling Bruins kept on serving wins.

"We played a solid 60 minute game and dominated it," Mike
Siegel, captain, said.

Dominated would be a little to kind.

Looking like baseball’s famous "Murdere Row", the Bruins made it
clear that these Ducks should have flew south and stayed off the
ice.

"Everyone of are players played well," Siegel said. "The first
three lines played hard and we just completely dominated."

Spreading out the wealth, UCLA had ( number ) of players score
goals and help propel the Bruins. Saturday’s game was a total team
effort, were not one player stood out from the rest because
everyone played up to the same par. This type of professionalism is
what the team has been searching for in it’s previous years.

Last year the team placed last in the conference because they
could not put away games, losing several overtime matches. There
was not a sense of total dedication and professionalism in the air,
this year is different.

"We work out twice a week instead of one and carry a more
serious attitude and professionalism," Pat Massons said.
