UCLA (13-2-1) handed the Huskies and the Cougars their one loss
while the Golden Bears handed the Bruins theirs. USC upset Cal to
ruin their perfect conference record.

Freshman forward Staci Duncan leads the team in points (24),
goals (9) and assists (6). Duncan also leads the Pac-10 in scoring,
is second in goals and first in assists. She is in a three-way tie
in each category.

Sophomore transfer Tracey Milburn has been on fire for the
Bruins of late. The Bruin forward has scored a goal or an assist in
each of the squad’s last five games and seven of the last eight.
The five-game streak is tops on the team for the season.

She is currently tied for second on the team in points (16) and
goals (7) with freshman Breana Boling.

Midfielder Breana Boling, whose twin sister Krista plays for the
team as well, scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute in
No. 14 UCLA’s 2-1 win over No. 25 Stanford. She has scored the
game-winning goal in three of UCLA’s last four victories, and ranks
second on the team in goals (7) and points scored (16).

Those statistics also place Milburn and Boling in a three-way
tie for sixth in the conference with Lindy Brown of OSU.

The Bruins continue to lead the league statistically, ranking
first in team points (96) and goalkeeping (0.54). UCLA is also the
only team in the conference that gives up less than one goal per
game.

Milburn, Boling and senior forward Larisa Kiremidjian have all
scored two goals in a single game this season.

Boling is tied for first on the team in game-winning goals (4)
with Duncan. Also, Boling has scored three of the last four game
winners and the team is 5-0 when she scores a goal.

Junior goal keeper Lindsay Culp leads the conference with 0.55
goals against average. She has allowed a mere nine goals in 16
games.

Milburn, Duncan and Boling are the top scoring trio in the
conference. The top scoring duo would consist of Duncan and either
of the two aforementioned.

UCLA has played musical standings once again. In the National
Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, the Bruins drop from 14
to 19 with their 1-1 week. Despite consistently ranking ninth in
the Soccer America poll, UCLA has finally dropped to 14th.

Sophomore midfielder Venus James, second in UCLA career scoring
with 34 points, is fourth on the team and 22nd in the conference
with nine points.
