Speaks out

If the Major League Baseball players go on strike, will it
affect your interest in baseball? Will you turn to other sports
instead? Sam Schofield Third-year Geography I will be disappointed
if they go on strike because I think baseball is very entertaining.
I won’t watch any other sports during the spring because I
think baseball is the best spring sport. Brett Douvros First-year
Undeclared This strike really makes me angry. It will take me a
long time to recover as a fan if they do go on strike. The players
are all greedy. I’ll definitely focus on other sports like
football and basketball more if there is a strike. Steven Maxiums
Fifth-year Molecular, cell and developmental biolgy I’ll be
disappointed if they strike. I’m a big sports fan already so
it won’t affect my interest in the other sports. To be
honest, if they strike and come back, I’m still going to
watch it. Andrea Evans Fifth-year Physiological science I think
striking is a very shallow thing to do. It’s ridiculous
because they already get paid way too much. The strike won’t
affect my interest because I haven’t watched baseball since
the 1994 strike. Danny Mendez First-year Undeclared They’re
making enough money as it is. They shouldn’t be whining; they
should be playing for the love of the game. I’ll be disgusted
with baseball and I’ll definitely watch it less. Dan Rabens
Alumnus Psychology I’m done with baseball if the players
strike. All the other sports know how to handle their business
without going on strike. Apparently, baseball doesn’t. The
strike will just give me more time to watch the other sports.
