Crimewatch


Petty Theft

On the morning of Dec. 30, 2002, a stereo was removed from a
vehicle in Lot 8 on Westwood Boulevard.

A $300 compact disc player was stolen from a 1997 Honda Civic
parked in Lot 1 on Gayley that same day.

On Dec. 31, 2002, a cell phone valued at $395 was stolen from
the UCLA Law School.

Later that night a backpack was taken from a bus stop on
Westwood and Weyburn.

Early on the morning of Jan. 1, 2003, a CD player was stolen
from a 1996 Nissan.

On Friday, a cellular phone valued at $250 was taken from Cafe
Roma in the Anderson Business School.

Grand Theft

On the morning of Dec. 30, 2002, a $1,500 CD player was stolen
from a 1990 Honda Accord parked in Lot 1 on Gayley.

Amplifier, speakers and CD dash were stolen from a 1992 Jeep
parked in the same lot that day. That same day $1,500 worth of
items were also removed from a 2001 Nissan parked in the same
lot.

On Thursday, two computers valued at $4,000 were stolen from
Warren Hall.

A $3,150 laptop computer was stolen from Moore Hall that same
day.

Early Friday morning a 2002 Lexus was stolen from the 900 block
of Hilgard.

On Saturday, a digital camera worth $500 was stolen from
Ackerman Union.

Miscellaneous

A robbery occurred Friday evening between Wilshire and Westwood
boulevard. The suspect had a hand gun and fled by foot.

A male between the ages 18-25 was reported to have watched a
woman shower on Rieber 2S Sunday evening.
