Will you be voting in the USAC elections? Does the online voting
make any difference in your decision? Ali Rashidian
Fourth-year, biochemistry
“I will not be voting because, honestly, I really
don’t care. Despite my feelings, I do think the online
elections will be a lot more effective because it will take
students less time to vote.” Haniel Dominguez
Third-year, psychology
“I’m really not too into the USAC elections, but I
will vote if I have the time. Having the elections online takes
less time and thus makes it easier to vote, especially for
me.” Nima Badie
Fourth-year, electrical engineering
“Before I found out that the USAC elections are online, I
would have said that I wouldn’t be voting, but now it seems
like it would be a lot easier to vote. I still probably
won’t, but I am sure a lot of other people would.” Mary
Vardazarian
Second-year, political science
“Once I find out more about the candidates, I will be
voting in the elections. It makes it a lot easier that the
elections are online this year, and I think more students will vote
than before when they weren’t online.” Tracy
Fuhrmann
Second-year, psychobiology
“I will be more likely to vote in the USAC elections
because it is online. I don’t know if I will or not yet, but
because it’s online the chances of me voting will be
greater.” Jason Karuza
Third-year, computer science
“I will not be voting in the USAC elections because I
don’t feel it really makes that much of a difference on
campus. I think that the online voting will only make it easier for
those students eager to vote, but it doesn’t change my
decision.” Compiled by KELSEY HICKS/Daily Bruin Senior Staff;
