Bruins move up in the rankings
The UCLA men’s track and field team moved into eighth in
this week’s Trackwire Top 25. This is their highest ranking
of the season after moving up from last week’s No. 13
position. With the 29 projected points, the Bruins are only one
point behind LSUÂ and 10 points behind No. 4 USC.
The women’s track and field team moved up to No. 3 with 53
points in Trackwire’s weekly Top 25. Currently LSU is
No. 1 with 65 points followed by Texas.
The Trackwire 25 projects a hypothetical score for the NCAA
meet, factoring in injury reports and other variables supported by
information gathered from coaches and NCAA-qualifying competitions
across the country.
