A prep All-American at Shingle Springs Ponderosa High School,
Brett McMillan exploded onto the scene at UCLA as a freshman.
The Bruins’ starting third baseman, McMillan hit .330 with
eight homers and a team-high 67 runs scored.
He was named onto the freshman All-American team, and was the
catalyst for a UCLA offense that improved as the season
progressed.
McMillan is the focal point of a young Bruin lineup that could
lead the UCLA baseball team into the postseason next year.
