What did you think about the gubernatorial debate? What was your

“Other than the personal attacks, I think the candidates had
a pretty good understanding of the issues. The personal attacks
that happen in politics kind of get old. Other than that, the
issues were good. I thought it was a really interesting debate as
opposed to the two-candidate debates that we are used to ““
this one had a lot more differing opinion.”

“It was interesting. They covered a lot of the topics they
needed to discuss. Many of the candidates made good points, but
part of it seemed like a joke. The insults going back and forth
made it seem like you were reading the opinion section of the Daily
Bruin. It was more based on jokes then anything else. I think it
went pretty well, but I wish the candidates stayed on
topic.”

“I think the moderator could have done a better job of
regulating who was speaking at what time and sticking to the topic
at hand. I think that Cruz (Bustamante) could have been a little
bit more polite to the other candidates ““ he seemed to be
just mocking them. Arianna (Huffington) I don’t think will
win, but I was most impressed by her.”
