think of the protestors? Jay Carson Third-year, political
science, UC Berkeley “It’s definitely their
right, but I think this event is more about the celebration of the
American president. It’s something we do every four years, no
matter what your party is. It’s their right to protest
““ hopefully they’ll do it respectfully.”

they show their perspective on the issues. It’s good because
there are a lot of pro-Bush people here, and our country
isn’t totally pro-Bush. Today this city will represent how
the country feels ““ half one way and half the other.”
