Crime watch


Petty Theft

A Palm Pilot worth $270 was stolen from an office in the
Biomedical Library between Feb. 18 and Feb. 22.

Someone cut through the top of a blue Ford Mustang convertible
and caused a total of $300 worth of damage between Feb. 17 and Feb.
20.

A $125 battery was stolen from a blue 1998 Nissan pickup truck
on Feb. 18.

Someone stole sunglasses worth $180 from a room in the Geology
building between Feb. 16 and Feb. 17.

Grand Theft

Someone broke into a 2000 Toyota Corolla at 515 Kelton Ave. and
stole a stereo and other items between Feb. 14 and Feb. 18.

A jackhammer and part of a fence worth a combined $1,679 were
stolen from a garage at 740 Weyburn Terrace Ave. between Feb. 17
and Feb. 18.

A purse with $358 worth of valuables was stolen from 414
Landfair Ave. on Feb. 17.

A mountain bike worth $500 was stolen from the Hedrick Hall bike
racks between Feb. 13 and Feb. 16.

A $500 camera was stolen from the Center for Health Sciences on
Feb. 10.

Miscellaneous

Two people were fist fighting at 10988 Strathmore Ave. on Feb.
19.

A patient refused to leave the emergency room at the Santa
Monica hospital on Feb. 18.

Someone used someone else’s social security number to get
a credit card on Nov. 24, 2004.
