Crimewatch


Petty theft

A laptop worth $500 was taken from the Ueberroth Building
between Sept. 7 and Sept. 11.

DVDs worth $240 were taken from Bradley International Hall Sept.
17.

Grand theft

A $1,200 laptop was taken from a locker in the law building
Sept. 19.

A wallet and watch, worth $414, were taken from the Wooden
Center Sept. 14.

A mountain bike worth $825 was removed from the Molecular
Sciences Building Sept. 15.

A mattress and laptop computer, worth $2,100, were taken from a
residence on the 700 block of Hilgard Avenue Sept. 15.

A laptop worth $3,000 was removed from a residence on the 500
block of Gayley Avenue Sept. 16.

A total of $1,400 in cash was stolen from a vehicle parked in
Lot DD Sept. 17.

Burglary

Toys valued at $781.75 were stolen from the fourth floor of the
UCLA Santa Monica Hospital between December 2005 and Sept. 15,
2006. There were no signs of forced entry.

A vehicle window was smashed on the 10000 block of Strathmore
Drive Sept. 17, and a laptop, a camera, a cell phone and a
backpack, valued at $1,400 total, were removed.

Vandalism

The right rear window of a vehicle was smashed on the 700 block
of Gayley Avenue Sept. 19.

The windshield of a car was smashed in Lot 1 Sept. 16.

University property damage

A vehicle struck a post near Ackerman Union at 8:10 a.m. Sept.
22.

Suspicious activity

A person locked herself in a bathroom on the 100 block of
Westwood Avenue and refused to come out Sept. 14.

A person was reported loitering and peering into vehicles in Lot
5 Sept. 15.

Fireworks were fired from the roof of a residence on the 10000
block of Strathmore Drive Sept. 17.

Indecent exposure

A man was taken into custody and transferred to an emergency
room after a report that he was exposing himself at the corner of
Bellagio Avenue and Sunset Boulevard Sept. 20.

Miscellaneous

A counterfeit bill was found in a cafeteria in the Center for
Health Sciences Sept. 14.

An individual in front of California Pizza Kitchen was grabbing
food off the tables of restaurant patrons and also was wandering in
and out of the street at 10:03 p.m. Sept. 22.

A woman reported receiving annoying and harassing phone calls
from her ex-boyfriend at 2:57 p.m. on Sept. 24.
