Crimewatch


Grand theft

Diamond earrings and a ring worth a total of $2,900 were removed from a residence on the 700 block of Hilgard Avenue between May 14 and May 28.

A backpack worth $3,000 was removed from the UCLA Heath Sciences Store on May 30.

A wallet worth $1,000 was removed from the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences on May 30.

A bicycle worth $1,500 was removed from the backyard of a residence on the 700 block of Hilgard Avenue between May 30 and June 1.

A laptop worth $2,300 was removed from a residence on the 800 block of Levering Avenue between June 1 and June 2.

Burglary

A projector worth $400 was removed from Boelter Hall on May 25.

Suspicious activity

Someone observed a vehicle parked in Sproul Turnaround on May 30 that appeared to have human hair poking out of the trunk. The vehicle turned out to have wigs in the trunk.

Someone reportedly entered Royce Hall and moved a tablecloth into a closet on June 1.

Verbal dispute

Between eight and 10 people were reportedly trying to start a fight on the 500 block of Landfair Avenue on June 1.
