At approximately 12:15 p.m., police arrested a man suspected of petty theft from the UCLA store. The man was chased down and detained in Perloff Hall after running from UCPD officials.
According to officials, officers were responding to a petty theft in the UCLA Store, and multiple officers pursued the suspect on foot.
Officials could not confirm if the man was a student at this time.
