“First, the cost ”“ UCs are so much cheaper than other schools. Also, when I first visited, it was a beautiful day, and everyone was so happy. I wanted to come here because it was so alive and fun.”

“Its reputation in research. I’m a history major, and so much money here goes toward the library, which is stocked with archival resources and primary sources. Other colleges couldn’t boast the same.”

“You can go anywhere in the country and say you go to UCLA, and people will know what you mean. Also, (UCLA) blends academics with a lot of other activities and opportunities.”
