Jan. 20, 2012 – The UCLA Breathmobile, a self-styled “asthma clinic on wheels,” has been making trips to the Long Beach area for more than two years. Originally funded by the South Coast Air Quality Management District, the 33-foot-long RV stays at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA while it’s not being used to diagnose and treat children with asthma symptoms.
