Call for submissions from graduating seniors: six-word memoirs

Graduating seniors: Ernest Hemingway famously showed that there’s a lot you can say in six words (“For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”) Send us a six-word memoir or story about your UCLA experience for the Daily Bruin’s Graduation Issue.

Your submission should be sent to online managing editor Devin Kelly via email at [email protected], with “Six Words” in the subject line. You can also tweet or DM it @dailybruin with the hashtag #sixwordsdb, or send it in a message to our Facebook page.

The deadline for print submissions is 5 p.m. on June 8, and we will be accepting online submissions until June 18.

Feel free to email Kelly with questions. We’re looking forward to reading your six words.
