We asked students what their favorite classic bands are, and how they think those bands influenced today’s music.

“My favorite classic rock band would probably be Creedence Clearwater Revival. I think Kings of Leon was influenced by them. But there just isn’t a lot of that kind of rock today.”

“I’m a Led Zeppelin fan. I grew up listening to that music. Robert Plant’s weird vocals can be connected to Modest Mouse. …(The sound of Led Zeppelin) is like garage rock today.”
