More than 1,000 students packed into Ackerman Grand Ballroom on Feb. 28 for the 2013 Hip Hop Explosion concert. The concert, sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Commission, opened with Rocky Diamonds and featured A$AP Rocky as the headliner. Kendrick Lamar also came on as a surprise guest during A$AP Rocky’s performance.
