UCLA Library Edible Book Festival


The UCLA Library Edible Book Festival was held in Powell Library on Friday. Submissions were accepted from individuals and groups across campus. They were judged by three judges and those who attended the festival. The winners were as follows:

Best Student Entry: Lauren Peikert, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” by Beatrix Potter

People’s Choice Award: Lauren Peikert, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” by Beatrix Potter

People’s Choice Award Runner-up: Elaine Sakamoto, Dana Iwata, Laura Juarez, and Noah Rosenthal, “The Enormous Crocodile” by Roald Dahl

Best Tasting: Lauren Stockly, “Goodnight Moon” by Margaret Wise Brown

Most Creative: Lise Snyder, “The Hundred Dresses” by Eleanor Estes
