A man stole a computer and some power drills from the UCLA Student Media office in Kerckhoff Hall on Saturday, according to university police.
The man entered the office at around noon and took a computer, some cables, two power drills and a T-shirt, said Nancy Greenstein, spokeswoman for university police.
It is unknown whether the door he entered was initially locked, Greenstein said.
The case is still under investigation.
