“Well my major at UCLA was political science. I’m not actually quite sure how it would connect, so I’d kind of be making something up,” laughs UCLA alum Gary Chau. Stepping away from his initial law-intended path, Gary Chau used his entrepreneurial spirit to open Caffe Luxxe. His philosophy of quality, handmade coffee and admiration of the European cafe culture have helped him foster a community that emphasizes the human connection in a coffee experience rather than the usual coffee transaction.
