Celebrating 21st birthdays and curing cancer at Relay for Life

Instead of going out to celebrate, third-year film student Matthew Camello decided to spend his 21st birthday at Relay for Life in honor of his uncle who passed away from cancer. Camello exceeded his goal of raising $2,100 and bringing together a team of 21 people. At Relay for Life, Matthew’s birthday became more than a celebration of his 21 years but also a celebration of the lives of those who battled cancer and the hope for a cure.
