The second gallery of our abroad series, “Daily Bruin Abroad”, takes us to the North Pole. This summer, staff photographer Max Himmelrich traveled to the northern Arctic Circle, specifically a small island north of Norway called Svalbard. This glacial island is as close to the North Pole as a non-expert survivalist can go.
