It looked like a different team had taken the field after UCLA came close to surrendering a 16-point first-half lead to USF. But the Bruins managed to squelch the Bulls’ comeback to win 72-67 in order to book their tickets for the next round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
