In the Cage: Episode VI with Alex Roelse



Some are small, some are huge – each game No. 1 UCLA plays it likes to approach the same way.

But for everyone outside the water, this weekend’s Crosstown Splashdown is the most anticipated match-up of the season. No. 2 USC has surged on offense, on defense and in the rankings, and the Trojans are riding an 11 game win streak with a home-pool advantage cq that’s importance, in a match as big as this, cannot be underestimated.

Junior utility Alex Roelse joins the show to talk about all the story lines heading in, from his Rio days with USC goalie McQuin Baron, the “system” showdown and more.

Alumnus

Hull joined the Bruin as a freshman in 2015 and contributed until 2017. He was an assistant Sports editor for the 2016-2017 academic year and spent time on the men's water polo, women's water polo, women's soccer, track and field and rowing beats.
