Gallery: Students march through UCLA in support of Black Lives Matter movement



In a protest organized by the Black Graduate Student Association and Afrikan Student Union, demonstrators filled Dickson Plaza and marched in front of UCPD headquarters to convey grievances against police brutality and racial injustice in the first organized march on UCLA’s campus since the death of George Floyd.

Alumnus

Lopez was a senior staff photographer from 2019-2020. He was previously an Assistant Photo editor from 2018-2019. He likes portraiture and sports photography.

News senior staff

Jung is a senior staff reporter and a photographer for the Bruin. He was a 2021-2022 assistant News editor for the campus politics and city and crime beats. Jung was also the 2020-2021 assistant Enterprise editor. Jung is a fourth-year global studies student.

Alumna

Dixon was the 2018-2019 Photo editor. She was previously a 2017-2018 assistant Photo editor.

Hoang was the 2019-2020 Digital Managing editor of the Daily Bruin. She was last year's Social Media Director and was previously an Assistant Photo editor on the Arts and Entertainment beat before that. Hoang additionally covers campus politics, national and higher education and is a senior staff photographer.

Video Producer

Coffman is the 2019-2020 Video producer and former Assistant Photo editor. She is a fourth-year psychology student with a film minor.
