From behind their viewfinders, Daily Bruin Photo staffers recall the stories of pictures they took this past year, ranging from protests to socially distanced portraits and sports games in empty stadiums.

Kenney was the 2021-2022 Photo editor for the Daily Bruin. She previously served as an assistant Photo editor on the arts and entertainment beat and is an Arts contributor. Kenney studied human biology and society with a minor in food studies.

Rimer is the 2022-2023 digital managing editor. He was previously the 2021-2022 assistant Photo editor on the Sports beat and a staff photographer. He is a History major in his fourth year at UCLA.

Senior Staff

Mehra is a senior staffer and was previously the 2020-21 Photo Editor for the Daily Bruin. Before that, she was an Assistant Photo editor on the Arts & Entertainment beat. She is pursuing a B.A. in psychology with minors in anthropology & labor and workplace studies, and she also contributes to News, Arts and The Quad.

Jung is a senior staff reporter and a photographer for the Bruin. He was a 2021-2022 assistant News editor for the campus politics and city and crime beats. Jung was also the 2020-2021 assistant Enterprise editor. Jung is a fourth-year global studies student.

Chakrabarti is the 2022-2023 Photo editor. She was previously the 2021-2022 assistant Photo editor on the News beat. She is a fourth-year mathematics of computation student at UCLA, and she is from Sacramento, California.
