UCPD searches for suspect reportedly involved in on-campus sexual battery

UCPD is searching for a suspect reportedly involved in an on-campus sexual battery Monday morning.

The incident took place at the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus stop at the 400 block of Westwood Plaza around 10:40 a.m., according to a UCPD crime alert sent Wednesday morning.

The suspect reportedly slapped the victim’s buttocks as she was exiting the bus.

The victim is a UCLA student, according to the alert.

UCPD described the suspect as a man in his 30s with a thin build and brown hair wearing a navy blue hooded jacket and black shorts.

No injuries or vehicles were reported as related to the incident.

This case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information can call UCPD at 310-825-1491.
