Residential break-in reported on the Hill; UCPD searches for suspects



UCPD is searching for suspects who allegedly broke into a bedroom window while the victim was inside the residence.

The on-campus incident took place at Saxon Suites at about 10:10 p.m. on Saturday, according to a UCPD crime alert sent Sunday afternoon.

The suspect reportedly removed the screen from a bedroom window while the victim was inside the residence. The victim opened the bedroom door and saw an item being thrown across the room. The suspects fled the scene. No suspects were inside the residence, and no property was removed according to the alert.

The first suspect was reportedly male, a teenager, had blond curly hair and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was reportedly male, an unknown age and was wearing a black shirt. The third suspect was reportedly male with an unknown age according to the alert.

The victim is a UCLA student, according to the alert.

No injuries or vehicles were reported as related to the incident.
