UCLA ranks 7th in 2023 edition of Forbes America’s Top Colleges list

Forbes ranked UCLA seventh in its 2023 America’s Top Colleges ranking Tuesday.

It had previously ranked UCLA sixth in its 2022 ranking.

Forbes decides its ranking based on numerous factors, including graduation rates, salaries post-graduation, retention rates, return on investment and low debt rates after graduation.

UC Berkeley ranked fifth, UC San Diego ranked 21st, UC Santa Barbara ranked 24th and UC Davis ranked 37th. All nine UCs were ranked within the top 200.

Princeton University ranked first, followed by Yale University and Stanford University in second and third, respectively. The University of Southern California ranked 14th.
