Demonstrations persisted at Dickson Plaza after an encampment led by UCLA students and community members was set up in support of Palestine on April 25. Outside Royce Hall, encampment members encountered counter-protesters, displaying the escalating tension on college campuses across the country.

Dai-Liu was a 2024-2025 slot editor and a News senior staff writer. She was previously the 2023-2024 science and health editor. Dai-Liu was a comparative literature and neuroscience student from San Diego.

Li is the 2025-2026 digital managing editor and was previously the 2024-2025 Photo editor. She is on the editorial board and is also an Illustrations contributor. Li is a third-year history student from Rowland Heights, California.

Sanzon was a 2024-2025 assistant Photo editor. She was previously a Photo contributor. Sanzon was a art student with a music industry minor from Baldwin Park, California.

Gallagher is the 2024-2025 assistant Photo editor on the News beat. He was previously a Photo contributor in the 2023-2024 school year. Gallagher is a third-year student from New York City.
