After Chancellor Gene Block declared Tuesday that the Palestine solidarity encampment was “unlawful,” pro-Israel counter-protesters attempted to storm the encampment in a violent attack that same night. Police officers swept through Dickson Plaza early Thursday morning, dismantling the encampment that had stood for a week.
