Pro-Palestine protesters established a second encampment on Kerckhoff patio the morning of May 23. Several police departments, including Culver City PD, LAPD, Santa Monica PD and UCPD, arrived at the scene and issued a dispersal order, causing protesters to relocate to Murphy Hall. There, the pro-Palestine demonstrators joined a crowd of United Auto Workers Local 4811 protesters who gathered outside. The protesters later walked over to Dodd Hall, where they staged a sit-in until UCPD arrived, causing them to disperse.
