UCPD has detained a man after an on-campus burglary and sexual assault in Saxon Suites on Friday.
The suspect reportedly entered the victim’s room by unknown means while the victim was in her bed early Friday morning, according to a crime alert sent Friday afternoon. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim and left the room in an unknown direction.
The suspect is reportedly a heavyset male in his 30s with a curly beard. He wore black clothing and a beanie, according to the alert.
The victim is a UCLA student and was medically treated on the scene, according to the alert. There were no vehicles reported as relating to the crime, according to the alert.
