Los Angeles voters have passed Measure A, the LA Times has projected. Measure A will repeal Measure H – which implemented a quarter percent sales tax in LA county in 2017 – and raise it to a half-cent sales tax. The measure is a citizen initiative that states it will raise an annual $1.1 billion, allocating 60% of its revenue toward services and solutions for people experiencing homelessness and another 36% toward houselessness prevention initiatives.
