DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES – Only a few jeers interrupted White House advisor Cedric Richmond’s televised announcement that Kamala Harris would not make an appearance until tomorrow.

Continental Club partygoer Alejandro Barrera, who voted for Harris, said the delay makes sense, with some states that are still an electoral toss-up. Meagann Bolton, who also voted for Harris, said she is not sure what choice they have but to wait.

“It’s making me a tad nervous, only because there’s a possibility that she won’t win this election,” Bolton said. “The waiting is making me more anxious.”
