The teacher spoke about a Dec. 15 incident where she saw Rodriguez with his upper body on Child A’s chest during nap time. She said when she saw it happening she “had to figure out if I was going to pull him off of her.” The teacher added that Rodriguez was agitated and red-faced afterward, throwing the metal cots in the room as he put them away, and he said to Child A, “I’m sorry … It won’t happen again.” The teacher said it scared her.

Senior staff

Keller is Daily Bruin senior staff. She was previously the 2025-26 People, culture and community director, the 2024-25 internal Outreach director and a 2023-24 assistant Sports editor on the men’s soccer, swim and dive, women’s water polo and softball beats. She is also Sports, Outreach, Design and Copy staff, and she is a contributor to the Photo, Enterprise and News sections. Keller is a graduate student in transformative coaching and leadership from San Jose and was previously a communication and sociology student with a minor in LGBTQ studies.
