USC quarterback Jayden Maiava will make just his second start for the Trojans tonight.
The sophomore transfered from UNLV after passing for 3,085 yards, 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions at a 63.5% completion percentage during his freshman campaign.
In his first USC start last week against Nebraska, Maiava completed 25-of-35 passes for 259 yards, three touchdowns and a pick.
The Bruins will have at least a game’s worth of footage to scout the Trojan signal-caller. That’s one more than the Cornhuskers had, so coach DeShaun Foster will probably be happy with what he’s got.
