Caroline Sierk, a third-year political science student who is originally from Iowa, said this is her first time ever seeing a wildfire and that watching the red clouds over the hills seemed “dystopian.”

“It’s horrible that this is a normalcy for people,” Sierk added. “I really can’t imagine growing up with something like this.”
