Every member of the 15-person Undergraduate Students Association Council has signed onto a letter asking the UCLA Academic Senate to mandate virtual instruction throughout week 2.

“We implore the university to prioritize the health and safety of its community over any other considerations,” the letter — which multiple USAC offices posted to Instagram — said.

As of Friday evening, instruction is set to be online Monday, but the senate is yet to commit to a change to the instructional format beyond then.
