A red flag warning – indicating critical fire weather – will remain in place for some mountainous parts of Los Angeles County until at least Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service website. The closest fire currently burning to the UCLA campus, which started in Pacific Palisades, is 23,713 acres in size as of 11:50 a.m. Saturday, according to the Cal Fire website.
Although an evacuation warning is in place bordering UCLA, there are no evacuation warnings or orders for the campus itself as of 11:50 a.m. Saturday.
