No. 1 UCLA women’s basketball took on Creighten at Chase Center on Dec. 20 as part of the Invisalign Bay Area Women’s Classic. The duel against the Bluejays was a rematch of the second round of last season’s NCAA Tournament, where the Bruins emerged victorious 67-63. Despite the absence of junior center Lauren Betts, the Bruins again downed the Bluejays with a final score of 70-41, a season-low in points for Creighton.
