In the news:

UCLA First to Go, which provides resources for students who are in the first generation in their family to attend a four-year college, said in a post on Instagram that it was postponing its upcoming events because of the fires. UCLA classes will be held remotely until Friday, Chancellor Julio Frenk said in a Saturday campuswide email.

“We want to extend our hearts to those impacted by the devastating wildfires in our community,” First To Go said in the post. “During these unprecedented times, the First To Go team would like to remind our first-gen Bruins that we are here as a resource hub and support system for you all.”

As of 7:40 p.m. Monday, there are no evacuation warnings or orders in place for the UCLA campus.
