Chances for an undefeated regular season for No. 1 UCLA women’s basketball (23-1, 11-1 Big Ten) ended Thursday night after crosstown rival No. 6 USC (22-2, 12-1) downed the Bruins 71-60.
The Trojans, led by standout guard JuJu Watkins’ 38-point showing, ended their rival’s win streak before a sold-out Galen Center crowd that included sports world royalty and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
