The Los Angeles City Clerk released results Friday for the North Westwood Neighborhood Council’s biennial election.

Fourteen UCLA students and faculty members ran for the 19 seats up for election. Ten students and faculty members won seats, three of which were reserved for graduate and undergraduate students and two for university faculty and staff members.

The election took place between January and March with voting held entirely by mail, instead of in person as it had been in previous years. The newly elected council members will be seated July 1, according to EmpowerLA – the city department responsible for awareness, engagement and election outreach for LA’s 99 neighborhood councils.

Neighborhood Councils Service Region 11, which covers Westwood and West LA, saw around 1,500 voters.

Each council member will serve for two years.
