The Echo and EchoPlex hosted the first-ever Fuego Fest on Saturday, a music festival inviting Latin bands and vendors promoting activism against increasing immigration enforcement. Los Angeles city councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez awarded the festival with a Certificate of Recognition. Artists such as Mexican Slum Rats, Chicano Mosh and Clarion performed at the festival.
