Gallery: UCLA football falls to Washington in potential final Rose Bowl matchup

It was a storybook evening at the Rose Bowl: cotton candy clouds hanging over the San Gabriel Mountains, fans tailgating on the grass outside the stadium and a matchup between two old foes. Despite the scene being set for them, the Bruins could not secure the storybook ending and the Washington Huskies (8-3, 5-3 Big Ten) pummeled the UCLA Bruins (3-8, 3-5 Big Ten) Saturday in what may have been the Bruins last home game at America’s stadium. In front of a crowd of 38,201, they proved feeble, losing 48-14 and tallying less than half the total yards of the Huskies.
